In Absentia is the seventh studio album by British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, first released in September 24, 2002. It was their first release on a major record label, Lava Records, and some consider it to be their magnum opus. All songs were written by Steven Wilson except "Wedding Nails" (Wilson/Barbieri), "Strip the Soul" (Wilson/Edwin) and Chloroform (Wilson/Maitland).
