When this album first came out in late march, i kept seeing it at best buy, but i didnt buy it and i usually give anything a chance, just by liking a record label or a producer. Then i went and saw them a month later at a small venue in harker heights, tx. they opened up for theory of a deadman and hinder. theyre stage presence was so intense, they couldve easily been the headliner. i mean with marshalls guitar solo's they cant be denied. i only had a burned copy of it then but by the end of the show i definetly had a retail copy of it. you always have a better appreciation for a band after you see them live. on a personal note me and my buddy ended up meeting the lead guitarists sister and her husband and the following day we were partying up in their home town of denton at the University of North Texas. each band member also sent me and my buddy a personal note in the mail over to us in iraq. theyre just an amazing band, amazing people, just read their blogs on myspace, all the stories they have to tell about their past tour before making it home to denton for a while before heading back out. cant wait to get back home and see them in concert again in '07.
