Little is known about latest MORIBUND CULT signees FEAR OF ETERNITY. But such mystery only heightens the enigmatic expanses of the band's CULT debut, Toward the Castle.
What is known about Fear of Eternity, then? The band began in Italy in the year 2000. Andrea Tilenni is the only member. He plays all instruments on Toward the Castle. He produced the album himself. The album was written over the past four years. He allegedly has three other albums recorded. His previous experience includes a stint with Sinoath, drumming on the album Research. But that is all.
Toward the Castle is both out of step with the times and yet postmodern. On one level, the album recalls the deeply occult atmospheres of black metal's unjustly forgotten wave of the early '90s.
