Circling Buzzards is a rare gem that saw extremely limited release in Europe circa 2002. Embracing a rare promo copy, Terrorizer called it "fresh, vibrant and unpredictable." A swift 30-minutes, the album contains a sound that is beyond easy/convenient classification.
A two-time performer at Norway's prestigious Hole in the Sky Festival, this Bergen-based quartet (who boast a 12-string bass player!) recently signed with Nocturnal Art Productions (the label owned/operated by Zyklon/ex-Emperor guitarist Samoth). A music fan himself, Samoth sought to unveil for the world this unique recording. Lyrically based on the works of novelist William Faulkner, Circling Buzzards draws musically from mixed parts speed, prog, death metal, hardcore and more.
