Biography
Giant Squid garnered the attention of eclectic, indie-metal label, THE END Records, with its self released, first album, Metridium Field, engineered by legendary veteran producer of heavy music, Billy Anderson (Neurosis, High On Fire, Mr. Bungle,Swans) and thus inked a deal in 2005. The band decided for its first release on The End Records, to completely re-record this debut album, again with Billy anderson at the helm, as well as Austin's Jason Rufuss Sewell on board as producer, in order to showcase the different approaches and attitudes of their current line up towards this ambitious material.
