Within 3 years, Watcha has become the French metal phenomenon we were all awaiting for. Watcha sold over 25 000 copies of their first 2 albums. The band is now working on its third album.
The French Revolution
Rock metal bands are having a hard time in France. Things are changing a bit but the French market is probably one of the smallest in the world. With 25 000 copies sold, Watcha forced people and media to acknowledge that something is going on. Watcha was the first band to sell so much in France. Watcha put itself under the spotlights and the band is now the leader of rock metal in France and probably in Europe. Watcha represents the French musical revolution of the beginning of the century.
