Biography

Formed in 1999, and although not extremely well known, they do have a strong fan following. The song "Monsters" features vocals by Chad Gray of Mudvayne. V Shape Mind has since broken up, pointing to difficulties with Universal Records as the key factor. They played their final show together on Thursday, May 6, 2005 at Lincoln Square Theater in their hometown of Decatur, Illinois.

The band was featured in a short documentary that focused on their experiences. The film was titled: "Up, Down, and No Way Out: The Central Illinois Hard Rock Scene". The film was finished in May of 2006, and was directed by Kurtis Allen, a student at Eastern Illinois University.
