Biography
Memphis is already known for their considerable amount of talented blues artists such as Alberta Hunter and Memphis Slim, but soon enough it'll be known as the city where a band named Piston Honda was born. Consisting of Jake (vocals), Jason (guitars), Patrick (bass), Ed (drums) and Adam (guitar), Piston Honda meshes with elegance, coherent doses of post hardcore, new metal and emo, giving birth to an intense soundscape that builds itself chord by chord into a gigantic musical skyscraper of power and emotions.
The music featured on the band's debut album, "Paradigm Shift", which was released in 2000, demonstrates a distinctive ferocity, reminiscent of bands such as Quicksand, Helmet and even Fugazi.
