Biography
1995 found four best friends in Sacramento starting a band. With members in place, choosing a name proved simple enough by conjuring a ficticious character William Haven. The group worked hard touring up and down the West Coast opening for everyone from the Beastie Boys to Earth Crisis among others. They released a self titled seven song EP in 1996, selling several thousand copies through mail-order and at shows. Revelation soon came into the picture and the band went back into the studio in April.
1997 marked the turning point in Will Haven's career. El Diablo, their first full length album, was championed by nearly every loud music critic as Max Cavalera of Soulfly and Chino Moreno of the Deftones were among the many musicians singing it's praises.
