Biography
Dark remains was formed in December 1998 by André van der Ree (Eternal Solstice) and Frank Kooiman, accompanied by Ramon Soetebroek (Eternal Soltice). They started playing Old School Death Metal with a different angle than Eternal Solstice. In the summer of 1999 Ramon left the band and was followed up by Saidi Sapuletej. At the end of 1999 a suitable vocalist was found in Rogier Droog (Funeral Winds). With this line up Dark Remains performed a lot on stage, which resulted in a deal with Cleansweep Productions.
